Vertical multistage pumps are high-efficiency centrifugal pump with multistage impeller series design. It is more suitable for high head but small flow. Its core structure is composed of multiple impellers and guide casings superimposed in sections. The liquid pressure is increased by step-by-step pressurization. It is widely used in water supply, industrial circulation, fire protection and other fields.

Pump composition

The pump consists of motor, pump head, guide vane, impeller, pressure-resistant cylinder, inlet and outlet water section, pump shaft, mechanical seal and other main components.
The key pump components guide vane, impeller, pressure-resistant cylinder and shaft are all made of stainless steel. Pump head and inlet and outlet water section: CDL pump uses cast iron and CDLF pump uses stainless steel precision casting.
The pump shaft seal is a single-end mechanical seal, the friction pair is hard alloy graphite, and the guide vane internal support is alloy steel.
The basic type of connection between the pump and the pipeline is a circular flange connection, and different connection methods can also be used according to user needs.

How does it work?

The vertical multistage pumps are not difficult to understand. Once the motor is started, the impeller in the pump rotates rapidly. The water in the center of the impeller is thrown out by centrifugal force, and the center becomes a low-pressure area. Under the action of pressure, the water outside "squeezes" into the center of the impeller. Driven by the impeller, the water continues to rotate, and the pressure is getting greater and greater. After passing through one level of impeller after another, the water pressure is constantly superimposed, and finally discharged from the pump outlet and sent to where it is needed.
